Roman Opus

Used by the builders of Cathedrals and Ancestral homes, this module is composed of several sizes of tiles, duplicated ad infinitum, giving an ancient look to your floor. The Roman Chaumière Opus (pattern on request) is composed of 4 tile sizes and is perfect for areas under 50 m2, corridors and kitchens. The large Abbey Opus consists of 7 tile sizes and a surface area of 6,09 m2, and suits areas larger than 50 m2, open-space areas and also large terraces and pool surrounds.

Opus Fixed widths

Classic pattern and typically used in French churches and chapels. This tile pattern is the most economical, yet with relatively large sizes (300 to 800 mm long). It is available in one width or alternatively a combination of three different widths, usually 300, 400 and 500 mm.

Cabochons

Used frequently in stately buildings and castles, these tiles incorporate 1, 2 and 4 cabochons per tile. The tiles are a minimum of 300 x 300 mm and rarely exceed 500 x 500 mm. The cabochons are 60 x 60, 80 x 80 or 100 x 100 mm; traditionally in black slate or black marble they are often replaced with coloured marble (red, yellow, green,…) or by limestone of a similar or identical colour and texture to the tiles. It is possible to supply cabochons in basalt or enamelled terracotta, in various sizes. Personalised tiles and cabochons require a minimum order of 50 m2.

Opus Incertum

An assembly of stones without any precise shape, they all have a minimum of two edges sawn; the sizes are approximately 300 x 400 mm up to 400 x 700 mm. The pallets consist of a range of Burgundy frost resistant limestone in beige to golden-yellow colour, in a variety of finishes (sawn, honed and brushed). Ideal for garage entrances, garden paths and terraces it is a very ecological product. The stone on offer is of excellent quality. It is sold uniquely by an indivisible pallet of 30 m2 (thickness 21/22 mm) at 11,90 Euro including TVA / VAT or 35 m2 (thickness 15/16 mm) at 9,90 Euro including TVA / VAT. These prices are ex our factory loaded on the truck and are subject to availability.

Square

A classic form for hundreds of years yet still popular in contemporary design for minimalist floors. Available in 200 x 200 up to 600 x 600 mm, in multiples of 100 mm. Special sizes on request, (minimum 200 m2)

Rectangular

From 200 x 400 up to 600 x 900 mm for certain stones, they abandon the regularity of square shapes to recreate a more ancient appearance often found in manor houses. The most popular sizes are 300 x 600 mm and 400 x 600 mm. Sizes are in multiples of 100 mm. Special sizes on request, (minimum 200 m2)

Stone breathes, providing a healthy environment for the home interior. There are no emissions of toxic elements into the air. Stone has thermal inertia appreciated for underfloor heating systems. As a natural regulator of temperature, stone accumulates heat during cold weather and remains cool during the summer.
